Blue is the Elite we recommend when the ride-on is going to do both jobs properly: indoor laps in the morning, driveway work in the afternoon. The protected wheels keep the indoor half civil and the darker frame keeps the outdoor half from showing on the paintwork.
What separates the Elite from the standard Pewi is comfort over time rather than capability. A flat seat is fine for ten minutes; a contoured one is what a child chooses for an hour. The wheel protectors are the other half of the argument, and together they are the reason this version tends to be the one still in use when a second child comes along.
