Raspberry is the newer of the two pink-family finishes and considerably stronger — closer to a magenta than a pastel. Side by side with the original pink the difference is obvious, which matters if there are two riders in the house and ownership disputes are a daily event.
Everything else is the standard Pewi recipe. A contoured seat wide enough to be comfortable for an hour, a closed-loop handle at toddler chest height, four wheels that swivel so the rider can turn on the spot rather than reversing out of a corner, and an aluminum frame that weighs less than the child's coat.
The reason this frame has lasted so long in the lineup is that it refuses to be one thing. It is a walker on Monday, a ride-on on Wednesday and a thing to park dolls on by Friday, and all three count as practice.

Very sturdy and wheels glide smoothly. But too tall for most 9 month olds.

The product says from 9 months, but my baby wasn’t able to sit on it and have his feet touch the ground until he was about 13 months old. And he’s tall for his age -99th percentile for height.
